The Alpha Gam house was originally built in 1896. Alpha Gam was installed at the University of Georgia in 1923, and we moved to our current home in 1931. The house was expanded in 2013 to sleep 71 girls in total. Each year, Executive Council members and the sophomore pledge class have the opportunity to live in the house. Every room in the house has a unique name from the original members to live in those rooms. This year, Alpha Gam’s foyer was beautifully renovated to honor its history while also bringing new life to our home, thanks to the help of Metal and Petal!
